20210619 Common Redstart breeding NE Norfolk


20210619 Common Redstart
Female searching for food and returning to nest.
Initial contact firm 'hweet' as Willow Warbler heard from hedgerow.
'sweet' often followed by 'tick-tick-tick' as Robin.

Male on the hunt swopping down onto grass.
Song not heard as there is nothing to sing to in Norfolk anymore...

Male in woodland with at least 2 well hidden young this morning.

Dangers to all breeding passerines on top of no suitable habitat.

Habitat destruction and humanoid destrubance is overwhelming at this site.
